@TurtleDoves:  I have the Mayo clinic book too. It is recently updated, easy to read, and obviously from a reputable source.

@taders:  I definitely get mood swings and the only other thing I’ve noticed is hot flashes. Good golly, those come out of nowhere!! Definitely take them with food, when I was taking them orally I’d take one in the morning before/with breakfast and one before bed with a few crackers or something. My doctor said that taking them before bed is really good because then you sleep through that round of side effects.

@Running Elley:  I know, my DH and I are so scared, too. But we are trying so hard to be positive and hopeful that this one will stick!!! 🙂 I’m so excited for your appt. next week!

@taders:  I’m glad your appt. went well! Many women have spotting (many here on the Bee have posted about it!) and it means absolutely nothing. The fact that it is brown (old blood) is fairly common. I’m on progesterone injections and have been since before my BFP and have had some mood swings and have been tired. Now that I’m pregnant, I’m not sure if my symptoms are from the progesterone or pregnancy, or both! 🙂

@Jenn23:  Thank you for the reassurance. I was a crazy person this morning going to the bathroom every 20 minutes. I thought for sure the next time I went there would be red blood. I’m so happy I haven’t had anymore.

@taders:  I know it’s hard not to worry, but brown spotting is definitely normal!!

Hi ladies! Can I tentatively join? I tried to keep up with the September boards but between not being able to access at work and my fatigue, I was not too active.

Estimated Due Date: By my calculations sometime around 9/13 but by LMP 9/21. Still waiting on my first u/s and doctor’s appointment to confirm.

How far along: I guess 9 – 10 weeks

Next Appointment: Tomorrow evening! It feels like I’ve been waiting FOREVER. I really hope that I get an u/s or at least an appointment for one really soon.

How are you feeling: Sooo tired and nauseous all the time. Seem to be feeling a little better the past day or two so I hope I’m turning a corner. Disgustingly my worst vomiting trigger is brushing my teeth. Nothing really seems to help but I haven’t since Monday night, so that’s progress!

Is it what you expected: I honestly thought it would be worse. I was expecting to be vomiting nearly 24/7 but really it’s not that bad.

What are you researching: I was googling missed miscarriage statistics but they’re too scary. Now I just read about what should be happening weekly.

What have you bought: Nothing. I really don’t feel like I’m actually pregnant and going to have a baby since it hasn’t been confirmed by a doctor yet.

Feeling likguy’s about to go crazy. At around 5pm I started having period like cramps. Didn’t think much of it until I went to the bathroom- bright red bleeding. It’s not a super heavy flow- when I’m laying down it doesn’t get on a pad, but when I go to the bathroom is a fair among. I called my doc and he said it’s not uncommon, but not common either.

I can’t get the blood tests he suggested until the morning- how can I possibly wait?;( After getting a late BFP and being so sick this week, I’m fearing the worst.

@MRSLMA:  That’s so scary. Can you go to the ER? I will be thinking good thoughts for you. I hope it’s nothing serious.

@rlfs0510:  Doc told me not to unless cramping was severe (doubling over in pain) or if I was bleeding through a panty liner an hour. He said dealing with a non-specialist (ER doc) can sometimes cause more harm/worry than good and he’ll make sure I am seen in the AM

@MRSLMA:  Oh no! I’m so sorry. I’ll be thinking of you and I hope everything is ok. There’s not much an ER doc can do. They will basically do a blood test and maybe an U/S where the tech can’t even say anything to you during it.

@MRSLMA:  Hoping everything is ok for you!  I am sure you are feeling every emotion right now.

I have a Toyota 4Runner and love it.  It is pretty high though, so may be tough if you are on the shorter side.  But I put my nieces and nephews carseats in there and they fit well.  My mom has the highlander and loves it too.
