@roxy821:  Thanks so much for starting this thread!! I totally was craving updates!

Abby is doing great, for those that were following our story the surgeon is pretty confident her mass is non cancerous and we have no immediate plans to take it out (YEAH!!!) We are having a great time, although I would say its just starting to get easier, our second month was pretty hard but I have learned so much!!! IE infants still need structured nap times or they won’t fall asleep??? That was a really tough lesson!

Hope everyone is doing well, and can’t wait to get more updates!!

Good idea for a thread!!

My son was born 2 days late on October 20th and he was 7lbs. His name is Carter and he’s doing awesome.  Breastfeeding is one of the most challenging things I have ever done, but I feel so glad I was fortunate enough to be able to. He’s a pretty smiley guy and loves to flirt with girls lol!  I’m going to be in trouble when he’s a teenager with his baby blues haha.

Hi everyone,

Love to hear how everyone is doing! Casey is now around 3 1/2 months old. The best time of my day is when he first wakes up in the morning. “Good morning baby Casey!” I say and he responds with a big smile on his face. I then pick him up and place him on his feet, which always gets a squeal of delight.

The past months hasn’t been smooth sailing though, as I’m sure it hasn’t been for you guys either. Casey is definitely a challenge and I’ve finally realized that he’s a high needs baby (http://www.askdrsears.com/topics/fussy-baby/high-need-baby/12-features-high-need-baby). Instead of wondering what I’m doing wrong and why he’s like this, I just accept that he is the way he is and to go with the flow. So he’s constantly on me (in a carrier as I type), breastfeeding constantly, SCREAMS instantly when he doesn’t get his way, and basically uses me as a human pacifier at night. LOL. But he’s also so curious, alert, affectionate, and smiley. I kiss him all the time.

@roxy821:  Good to hear that your little one no longer has feeding issues.

@Schatzie821:  What a cutie pie!

@carriejuly:  Yay for your little one’s health!

Keep the updates coming!

Here is Casey looking crazy-eyed at me LOL.

Hi All,

Little miss Sammi Jo is such a joy!  She’s the best baby!  I can’t even imagine my life without seeing that beautiful little smile.  I’ve done alot of good things in my life but having her was by far the best!  I’m so in love, it’s crazy!

She really is a happy baby (we lucked out)!  She only fusses when hungry or wet.  My nephew who is 3 weeks older, is constantly fussing!  He doesn’t sleep at night, my little SJ has been sleepting through the night for over a month now.  We have been very blessed!  Makes me a little scared to have another one, they may not be as good as she is.

This picture was taken yesterday right before the Patriots game

@Meshka:  How lucky you are!

In my famile, I’m the one with the fussy baby! I actually dreamt that my husband and I had another baby, a baby that slept through the night and was fine with being put down! Oh well at least my little guy keeps me entertained.
