Hi Shaema,

I’m from Falmouth so I have bee to all of those venues.  Falmouth Yacht Club is right on the ocean and is very cute… on the casual side, but would be great for a smaller wedding.  Flying Bridge is right on the harbor… the room is a bit outdated, but the view makes up for it plus they have a nice porch.  Coonammesset is very popular, but the room can fit up to 250 so I think it would be too big for your wedding…it is also not on the water.

Other options are Seacrest in North Falmouth.  They have a room for smaller wedding right on the beach and I think they are renovating it for next year.  Popponessett Inn is in neighboring Mashpee.  Their “poppy tent” literally sits on the beach – this is very popular for your typical Cape wedding and is on the pricey side.

I’m getting married at Ballymeade – which is a country club, not on the water, but is newly renovated and a nice intimate room.  Woods Hole Golf Club is also a nice venue on the water, but I think you need a member to sponsor you.

Let me know if I can help answer anymore questions.  Good luck!

One more I just thought of – Highfield Hall in Falmouth is a beautiful historical mansion that was renovated a few years ago and is now used for weddings and events.  They can fit up for 80 people inside I believe.  It isn’t beachfront either – but it is a really cool venue if you are looking for something different.  I always dreamed of getting married here, but my guest list was too big 🙂

I really really REALLY wanted to get married at the Cape Cod Cultural Center in Yarmouth.  It’s not Falmouth but its an amazing, interesting venue.  We couldn’t use the space because we you really can’t fit more than 125 people in the space.
