Yes, I'm getting false lashes for the day.

Yes, I'm getting lash extensions. (the kind that last beyond the day up to 2 weeks or longer)

Yes, I'm getting hair extensions put in but I never have (or rarely have) before.

I get hair extensions all the time, so no biggie for me.

I would not even consider false lashes.

I would not even consider hair extensions.

I am no planning to do either, but if it's what you want, go for it.

I wore fake lashes. Just bring extra glue with one. One of mine came loose on the end but a dab fixed it. I had them pop off when I wore them to another wedding, though but I got SUPER sweaty (outside, September, St louis…hot as heck) but forgot extra glue and was SOL. As far as extensions–a friend of mine wore clip in and they stayed in all night and looked fine!

I had a professional makeup artist for my wedding.  She did my false eyelashes and they looked AWESOME!  I don’t think I could have done them myself.

I also had my hair stylist in the city put in some temporary hair extensions before I left for my wedding.  (It was three hours away from our home in Chicago).  They looked fabulous.  Nobody guessed that I had added a “weave” for my big day.  My extensions added some lenght and thickness to my baby fine blonde hair.  I didn’t have any slip out until I removed them myself after the wedding.  Warning….the glue is annoying.  I wished I could have afforded the Great Lengths….they last much longer but cost much more!

Feel free to PM if you would like to see a photo.

I’m wearing false eyelashes.  I have long, straight-across bangs and they eat my mascara.  It looks like I’m not wearing any by the end of the day!

I’m not getting hair extensions because my hair is already really long, but if it was shorter and I wanted an updo, I would totally consider it.  My friend who has fine hair used clip-ins to add some volume to her updo and you couldn’t even tell.

I had my makeup trial the other day and I had false eyelashes on for the first time in my life.  I didn’t really how they felt on my eyes.  My eyelashes are really long and look good as long as I curl them so I’m not going to use the false ones.
