@crystal_owl:  Sorry about the undies lol. This is the best pic I have where you can see my lashes. My artist used the individual lashes but he applied 3 layers for added drama.

mine werent subtle – i went for the thick glam ones… and LOVED them. no worrying about mascara running or going clumpy if the tears start flowing!!!

i could have gone for the more realistic ones but thought, in for a penny, in for a pound – if im gonna have the hair and make up done then i may as well go for the thicker lashes too!!

I would say go for it, I love the other bees big lash pics, I think it looks nice. I’ve tried to do mine before and failed spectacularly! If you’re not wanting them done professionally I would say get practicing, you might be as bad at it as me 😛 failing that, maybe a BM has a knack for it? My friends have done it before for me, and it looked fab.

@crystal_owl:  thankyou! MUA will deffo put them on for you – if you have small eyes you may be better going for thicker ones to make them look bigger – i would ask your MUA for his/her opinion!xx

i’ll probably be wearing some. when i do wear them (not often, because i wear glasses and if the lashes are too long, they touch the glasses lens), i wear ardell invisi-bands demi wispies or babies. so i’ll probably buy a set of each and see which one looks best.

I wore them.  I had been practicing wearing them for a few weeks before the wedding so I got used to them and played with different styles.  I found the really thick ones were very uncomfortable.

I wore individual false lashes on the outer edges of my eyes. They really make your eyes pop in photos.

I’m definitely going for falsies. I’m going to be doing my own makeup and I prefer the strips to the individuals because I find them easier to put on. Ardell Demi Wispies are good, but actually Quo makes a pair really similar to those that I like better – they look a little more natural to me. I trim them down a bit and they’re more comfortable that way.

@crystal_owl:  Definitely go for fake lashes!  I went for a medium dramatic look.  When I was looking straight at someone, my lashes looked pretty natural (but long and pretty).  When I looked down, BAM!  Gorgeous thick lashes!  I absolutely loved them!

I don’t know how your hair and makeup stylist will work, but mine brought different types of lashes to my trial and wedding day.  I think she charged an extra $20 to pay for the lashes and apply them for me.  Since I had never bought or worn them before, I’m glad she did the legwork and brought me choices.  I would have been nervous shopping for them by myself with no idea what to look for.

    And now for some pictures!

I loved mine! I didn’t get anything too crazy… But they really looked good in the pictures!
