I did and they were a pain. They wer individual and it took them like an hour to put them on. It took me forever to take them off. You need them to make your eyes stand out because you’d be wearing make up and all that good stuff.

I have naturally thick, long lashes.  My MUA added falsies because they never would have shown up on camera.  Yeah, the false ones looked kind of strange in person, but looked good in the wedding photos.

Mine were a strip of lashes instead of individual ones.  I couldn’t tell you the brand, though.

I used false lashes 🙂 I used a strip instead of indvidual. And – get this – I used the $1 (or is it $3?) ones from E.L.F. They looked fabulous. I got the revlon lash glue, and those suckers weren’t going ANYWHERE.

@gramgeek:  Hi! I have quite a lot of experience with false eyelashes as I generally tend to wear them on special occasions. However, as much as I love them – I won’t be wearing them when I get married. I’ll be too scared that they’ll come unstuck and look dodgy… What I WILL do however, is get my eyelashes tinted black and have lash extensions done… they’re relatively inexpensive and they last for upto 6 weeks! So, you’ll even have beautiful long lashes for your honeymoon!! 🙂

I would go with eyelash extensions!  They are much less of a pain and more reliable than regular false eyelashes!

I did the eyelash extensions… i LOVED them and wore them for almost 2 months after the wedding.   They cost me $90 to put them in, and it was only like $5 to get them touched up, and i can’t remember how much it was when i got them removed but it was kinda expensive.   You can take them off yourself but i didn’t trust myself.   Some of my eyelashed did come out with them i think, and it looked like i had like no eyelashes after getting them off.

But i loved them, and i would do it again.   I loved not having to put mascara on.

My MUA has included eyelashes free in the package, so I think I’m going to do them.

I have really lovely eyelashes in person (at least I think so) but I really want them to ‘pop’ on camera. I’ll probably go with something very natural-looking.

These are my regular eyelashes. I’d love to have fake ones just to make sure they’re nice and thick on the day of.
