Did you or are you wearing fake lashes for your wedding? If so, do your fake lashes match your hair color or are they all black? I have light brown/dirty blonde hair, so I’m not sure if false lashes will look too dramatic for me? I haven’t worn them before.

I wear false lashes all the time and love them. I dye my hair many different colours, including blonde and always use the regular black falsies. They never look out of place and usually jsut really open up your eyes and make them wider.
I would advise going to false lashes as opposed to extentions. I;ve had both and while I loved the extentions, they are a lot of maintenence and retain a lot of water so they are not ideal if you are going on your honeymoon right away and want to swim or be in the water. I made that mistake when I went to mexico and every time I went int he ocean the water would catch in my lashes and stay there so I couldnt open my eyes or the salt water would burn!
I wouldn’t worry about them not “matching”. I think they will look fine! Like the picture below, they just really open up your eyes!

I wore individual temporary lashes (black) to augment my lashes without being too crazy. Highly recommend.
Oh, and my hair is strawberry blonde, but my lashes are black.

I have volume lash extensions that are pretty dramatic, I thought they looked great in pics from my wedding day. I have worn them for years though so I’m really used to them.
False lashes (either extensions or just strip lashes) can be done very dramatic or very mellow and natural looking. You just need to make sure you get a nice brand of lashes, quality glue, and have them applied well.
I’ve never heard of anyone having their false lashes match their hair color. Black with blonde hair is fine. Most blondes I know where black mascara or have black lash extensions and they look fine.

Thank you so much for the advice!

I haven’t gotten married yet, but I did my makeup trial and was floored by the difference the false lashes made! I’m so happy I am going with them! I am a brunette though, so I can’t comment too much on the difference with hair color!
Here is my before and after with my false lashes… such a difference!

I am blonde and wore them for my wedding. I now wear them for every wedding I attend! They really just make your eyes pop in pictures, highly recommend getting them. I have never heard of matching them to your hair color.

Wear em, just buy (or ask for) a more natural rather than glam style of lashes. If you aren’t used to them, half lashes or individuals rather than strip lashes might work well. Don’t be worried about the colour, you want them to be black.
You might feel like in person they look like “a lot” but makeup looks like way less in photos, so I would say definitely worth it.
If you’ve never worn false lashes, it would be worth trying to wear some in the same style (either strip, individual or half) you’ll be wearing on your wedding day just to get used to the feeling.

I wore them for my wedding and was happy I did. I think they look ridiculous in regular life but they definitely helped my wedding look.

I have extensions now but wore falsies for my wedding.

I did not wear any false lashes and am happy I didn’t. It was really important to me to look mostly like myself but fancy on my wedding day. The pictures came out great.

My eyes are the feature I want to emphasize, and I love wearing mascara, so I am 100% having falsies on my wedding day. Because mascara is usually black or brown, it won’t look weird if falsies don’t match your natural lashes. Usually makeup is more heavy for photography (more blush, brighter lip color), so wearing falsies could help your eyes pop in your wedding photos.
