Hi All! I know there may not be too many folks out there with the same problems, but I’m hoping there are one or two that could shed some light for me. Brief history: Diagnoised with PCOS and hypothyroidism (prob subclinical) in 2011. Taking Metformin + Levothyroxine.
Went to Endo on Monday to do labs and discuss TTC plans. Did lab work and my bad cholesteral is through the roof. She thinks I may have familial hyperlipidemia. Need to cut out dairy/meat for a month and retest. I look pretty healthy from the outside (5’3, 125lbs), but I have the body of an 80 year old 600lb man :(.
Anyone have any experience with this and TTC? I e-mailed my OBGYN to touch base on latest lab results and what this means for being pregnant. Just feeling really bummed that its another possible roadbump for TTC given the thyroid issues and PCOS.
