So my wedding will consist of about 35 people consisting of ONLY my family and very close family friends. It will be in South Africa at a game park, outdoors, in the summer.
I have no clue what would be a good idea for my wedding favors! I want to have something very different, maybe something having to do with Africa, or wild animals etc.. since its really only family, do you think I should have favors?
Any help would be GREAT!! Im not creative at all, so I cant come up with anything myself 🙂 Just to give anyone some inspiration, here is the site to where my wedding will take place : http://www.itaga.co.za

oh, that sounds exciting! and what a nice, intimate size. how about south african wine? it’s quite the up and comer. sorry, i can’t think of any animal things that wouldn’t be over the board childish.

Thanks for that idea! That might actually work!

Instead of a favor, I would do some sort of great welcome bag for them at the hotel. We’re having a destination event and doing the same thing.

I’m with KateMW. I would do “favors” as welcome baskets with nice toiletries and some wine, maybe even some local snacks! You could assemble them with your Fiance when you’re there….it wouldn’t take long between the two of you for 35 people. And, it’d be really personal. You could even have your wedding label put on the bottle of wine to jazz it up.
My parents have a safari themed bedroom, haha! It’s pretty funky. If I think of anything else, I’ll pop back here. It’s hard to do non-edibles with a south african theme i think because otherwise it can come off too cliche or not something everyone will like.
how about some south african spices in that welcome bag? My mom got me some spices from Jamaica and OMG they’re SO good!
