Fiance both own sedans currently, and I know eventually I want to trade in his Corola ( he hasnt taken the best care of it) for a family SUV. I would like opinions and recomendations…I personally am a Ford girl…I love my Ford focus, but I know Toyota and Mazda (Ford!!) are good companys as well…Just wondering what others are thinking! Thanks Bee’s!!

Honestly, I own a Chevy Blazer SUV and I LOVE IT!!! $20 of fuel (litres) lasts me 2 weeks with nonstop commuiting 20kms a day, and it has tons of room. Also it’s a domestic vehical so parts are cheap cheap cheap 🙂
The same goes for GMC Jimmy, and Ford Explorer!
My only advice is when you find a vehical that is possibly the “one”, look up issues that might have come with that year/generation, and see how cheap parts are. Also, the space in it but thats a given.
By The Way, Mazda is owned by Ford LOL …Fiance (tow truck driver, big into cars) just found this out at the dealer when he was dropping a car off the other day 🙂

@Firefighter_Bride: I’m glad to hear that fuel lasts you so long because sense gas prices are sky rocketing to 5 bucks a gallon hear…having a gas guzzlor regardless how much I love them…will not be an option!! I love Blazors…dated people with them in the past, but no one got gas millage like yours!! What year is yours?!! I love the Explorer, but once again the price it is to fill the tank is a big killer!! hahaha and Yes Ford and Mazda are the same company (why I put in quotations ford) hehe…I do love cars, just don’t know much about SUVs!! I am going to have to look more into them all!!
