I have always been really close to my brother and his wife so when we got engaged we asked them and their kids to be in our wedding (bridesmaid, groomsman, flower girl and ring bearer). They accepted. My brother and my Mom don’t talk and haven’t seen each other in 2 years. I knew this meant that my SIL wouldn’t attend the shower b/c it would be at my Mom’s house and I’m fine with that. A few months ago, my brother informed me that the kids will not be attending my wedding. I told him how much that hurt me but it didn’t change his mind. Now I am getting the feeling that they won’t be attending the rehearsal. My SIL mentioned that they were planning to arrive in town the morning of the wedding and asked what time they should be there. The rehearsal is the night before the wedding and they live 2 hours away. Is it rude for them not to attend the rehearsal? I feel that it is rude to my fiance and I and my future in-laws since they are hosting the event, but I don’t know if I’m overreacting. Thanks!
