I am in the same boat and I still have three weeks to go!  I can’t say whether its a common thing, but I can let you know you’re not alone.  I’ve fought with my sister and my mom in recent weeks because I just wanted them to CALM DOWN and stop worrying about the small things.  I wish I had more advice, but the best thing to do (IMHO) is to try to brush it off and not let it get to you.  One more week and they’ll be quiet and you’ll be married!!!!!!  YAY!!!

I agree with sbbridebythesea I don’t know if it’s normal, but I’m totally sailing in the same boat.  But my family has been totally (I’m not sure if one word really captures their…attitude)…schizo about things from day one.

Try to look at the good things:  they’re involved and care about things going right on this special day!  Your dad is probably having the whole my little girl is getting married, doesn’t need me, and won’t be in my life anymore syndrome – which does seem to be pretty common with dads and moms alike.

And you’re getting married in 8 days!!!

Ditto here too.  I think we’ve thought through all the details in our heads and our family is just now thinking of things we’ve been figuring out for months… but, totally agree – it’s stressing me out and I wish people would just NOT talk to me about this stuff!!!

My family had a slow burn of craziness beginning from when we got engaged and ending in fireworks the week before the wedding. It was by far the most miserable part of the wedding planning process. But after the wedding it went away and they were still all great on the wedding day itself, if that’s any comfort!
