This is my fear because my dress is an antique ivory and far from white. Anyone who’s wearing any shade close to it will be standing in the back for family photos. They should know better!

You could photoshop her a different color.

You’re certain this family member isn’t joking with you?

Ugh- I’d be annoyed but it isn’t like you can control what other adult people wear :/  Maybe you can have your photographer use a little photo shop & change her outfit from white to, say, orange? <— (sarcasm font)

I just laughed out loud at the idea of photoshopping her outfit as a different color.  hahahaha.  I wouldn’t worry about it.

Doesn’t she know that that’s not done?

I would politely ask her not to wear white. Seriously who does that!?

Definitely have her photoshopped into the ugliest color imaginable!

OP, is this a member of your family, or FI’s?  How is it that they don’t know this is not ok?

@meg131:  I would tell her: “You can wear white, but don’t expect to be in any photos with me.”

Just don’t have her stand next to you. Unless she is standing directly next to you or behind you it shouldn’t be an issue.

I just would leave her out of the pictures….if she wants to be rude then she would have to deal with the consequences…..

If she’s not your Mom, I would have your Mom speak with her and ask if she can find something else in her wardrobe to wear.
