    @Ilovewine:  Are there individual photos of your folks on their wedding day? Maybe your mom’s bridal portrait and a nice pic of your dad? I’d also talk to your parents about it. They might be perfectly ok with you using a wedding photo of them together.

    How was the divorce, and is one or both of them remarried?

    You could use their new wedding pictures, use their old wedding pictures if the divorce wasnt bad, or just you really nice pictures of them!

    @Ilovewine:  I agree with your FI, use individual pictures. Maybe you can get pictures of each of them with you asd a kid.
