I say family style, the wait staff will re fill the food as needed per table.

I personally like family style.  My Future Sister-In-Law had that at her wedding, home made tukey dinner. Let me tell you it was THE best meal (yes, meal) I have ever had!

So great too that we didnt have to mess around with the whole buffet nightmare

I don’t mind buffets, but with 150 people, you definitely need more than one line and attentive staff who make sure the food gets replenished. If I had the choice between the two, I’d definitely pick family style.

@malouloune:  Fix your poll, I wanna vote!

I think a buffet can work if you have two areas where the food is, and call different tables at different times…and ask your caterers to make sure there is enough food for everyone!

I normally love buffets, but with that many people I think family style would work better. I hate standing in line with a passion, its one of my biggest pet peeves and if I had to stand in line to eat at the end of the night, I would probably get so frustrated it would ruin the rest of my night.

Family style for sure. I first saw this on TLC’s “Four Weddings” and thought it was awesome. You can have EXACTLY what you want and as much as you want… all this without getting up.

    SCORE!!!!!

Family style because people can all eat at the same time instead of waiting in line 😉

Family style! I’m not a big fan of buffet especially for the amount of people you have.

I just went to an 80-lady bridal shower, and the biggest problem was a buffet line, that kept runinng out. Seemed to take them a long time to re-stock. I’d much prefer family style and have been to receptions/dinners where this was done. People also were pretty friendly and would ask for something at a neighboring table if they needed a spoonful more.
