Oh my Fiance will wish I didn’t see this!
I SO badly want to invite Prince William and Kate to our wedding! They will be visiting Canada then and thought they might be able to fit our wedding into their itinerary, ha! 😉
Seriously, can I at least send the invite? Wonder what the address is.
We will have a former olympian at our wedding (Hockey player!) but that’s “it”.

Well, we didn’t have anyone famous at our wedding. But my husband’s brother had a groomsman who is an actor! They got married a few years ago, and I ended up having to be the one to pick him up from the airport, etc. It’s so funny to see him on TV and movies.
His twin brother was a groomsman in our wedding… does that count?

Not a guest but our venues head chef was on the last season of Hells Kitchen!

I was in a wedding party with this guy from SCRUBS and that old soap opera PASSIONS
I am petite and he is quite tall, so it was funny walking back down the aisle with him with our arms hooked. My elbow was up near my ears!

So, with the invite for the President should we send it before or after the wedding? I read somewhere that you should send it after the wedding.

I went to a wedding where Anna from Ace of Cakes was a bridesmaid her and the bride grew up together.

As “famous” as it gets for us is a US Congressman (my boss) and a former US Senator (FI’s former boss). I would love to have some fun celebrity guest!!
@muckmoo1: Did she help with the cake at that wedding at all?

No real celebrities at our wedding. Our only “famous” guest was on a very recent season of Survivor. But I don’t really think of reality tv participants as famous/celebs.

hahah lets bring this thread back!
my parents were at a wedding last year with anne hathaway.
as it turns out, i’m related to her through marriage, haha!
the bride was my dad’s cousin’s daughter, and anne is her cousin from the other side of the family 🙂
apparently her mom is a professional singer and sang at my grandfather’s funeral in 1978

how do you get their address? just google it and get a legit answer?
i’d love to invite jason mraz, and his gift be to sing “i’m yours” to me and my Fiance. omg, way too much to ask, but that would be fantastic! (somehow that became “our song”)
i’d like to invite faith hill and tim mcgraw- not because i’m a country music fan (because i’m not), but because faith’s cousin is one of our groomsmen. it’d be cool, but she didn’t even go to his wedding last year, so doubt she’d come to ours.

I’m not inviting any one famous or any celebs, but we did invite a guy from this past season of Sweet Home Alabama and his parents. We went to school together and he is my sisters ex-boyfriend (our parents are still good friends.)
If I did know someone famous, I doubt I would invite them. I’m sorry but I don’t want to be upstaged on my wedding day. This day is about me and no doubt the celeb would get alot of attention.

This is such a fun thread. I never thought of this and probably wouldn’t have the nerve. Although, if I did I’d totally invite Justin Bieber…just so I could say I invited Justin Bieber. My cousins (who are younger) would love me for it LOL
