So my wedding is in 3 weeks (ahhh!) and we’re going to be doing some photos that day in a park near our venue….soooo it is going to be H-O-T-T HOT!!!
I’ve seen wedding photos of beautiful fabric’y looking white umbrellas, which might be a nice way to keep the sun off of me…and look pretty!
Do you all know where I might find one of these for a decent price? See photos for examples 🙂

I’ve found some really cute options by Googling "fashion umbrella." Good luck!

Actually, if it’s going to be really sunny, using a solid umbrella may be something a little better.
The lace umbrella that you see in those pictures would actually create a lot of weird shapes and shadows on your faces if they are underneath.
You don’t see them pictured here, because the day was a bit overcast, which creates a nice even light source. I suggest you talk with your photographer about it a bit.

How about a parasol? I’ve seen a couple brides use that in their photos and they turned out really nice.

I ordered a lace parasol from a UK company called Vena Cava Designs: http://www.venacavadesign.co.uk/Products/browse/cat/Fans_and_Parasols.html
Very reasonable prices. I also ordered Batenberg lace fans for my bridesmaids. I plan to use the parasol in my wedding photos, but I already used as a prop in our e-session.

You can also check etsy for the parasol as well. They have really decent prices.
