Does anyone have any experience (or know anyone who has) with this online flower wholesaler? They have great prices and good variety, and a pretty low rate for shipping to Canada. I can find a few reviews, some positive and some negative. I’ll probably get a test bunch to evaluate them but you never know.
Any other personal recommendations for wholesale flowers?

We’re hoping to do all our flowers ourselves and this is the site I’ve mentally bookmarked to use to fill in some flowers with whatever we can find in our local farmer’s market. I’ve heard good things from folks on a knot board about this place, but that’s all I know. Good luck!

I’ve used flowerexchange for hydrangeas and they were wonderful!

i’ve bought flowers for a friends wedding from 50flowers.com. they arrived right on time and the quality was good (they held up for days after the wedding too). i would use them again.
if you have a greenhouse near you, the prices are often much cheaper than at a florist. however, the selection often isn’t as good because they’re not flying in flowers from anywhere (they usually grow them themselves).

I second the http://www.theflowerexchange.com. I ordered flowers from 5 different online flower companies (i was picky with prices / quality). I had ordered orchids and star of bethlehlems from flowerexchange and they were the cheapest and the best packaged flowers out of everyone, seriously. I was nervous because they were the cheapest but they packed the flowers really well for hydration during shipping. If I was going to do it again I would have just ordered all my stuff from them. hope that helps!

Oh, yes, Flowerexchange was on my list of possibilities. It’s good to hear people vouch for them. Their surcharge for shipping to Canada is decent, too ($50 per order). Fiftyflowers looks very professional but more expensive than others.
I would totally do a farmer’s market/flower mart if that were an option, (When I lived in LA I often went to the downtown flower mart) but I’m getting married in Banff, Canada, and as far as I know there just isn’t anything like that in Banff or Calgary.
