@mommytobee:  Pretty dress! I love the plummy colour.

Do you wear heels? A metallic pump in silver or gold would be pretty hot with this dress.

I think you should do bracelet and earrings. I don’t know that I would wear a necklace as there is a lot already on the dress. But a sparkly cuff and some sparkly dangly earrings would look beautiful.

Hair I can’t help you with because I’m the worst at it! But maybe curly??

You have got a really nice shape and that colour is incredible on you, so you want to show it off.  If I was you, I would put your hair up in to a nice little beehinve and get some quite chunky suede heels in a nice dark plum colour or a black.  Make sure they are a suede like, or suede material as leather or patent I dont think will go.  Keep legs bare.  The added heigh of the beehive and lengthening of the heels will give you a really nice lean but feminine silhoette which will show off the material of the dress.   The suede material on the shoes will keep it softer to stop it getting too edgy.  I’m not too good with make up but if you were to brush a little bit of shimmer across the chest; just a little bit though – I think that would really gorgeous on your skin.

Heels like these:

I’d also be tempted to keep the jewlery very sutle and sexy – so maybe a very small delicate gold pendant on a necklace just sitting in the v of your neck?

I would go with small silver or gold bracelet a with matching dangling earrings. Do a nude smokey eye for your makeup (hundreds of tutorials online but I would recommend Marlena from MakeUp Geek.) As for hair, I’d wear it down straight with the crown of your hair pulled into a small pompadour. Find a peeptoe pump with a thin heel in a neutral color to make your legs look long and lean as well. Thats definitely what I would do! Best of luck!

@mommytobee:  A little gold necklace like this would be lovely.  If this is too minimal, you could always go for something on a longer chain, but I’d stay clear of it coming any lower than the v of the neck on the dress.  A small solid gold disc necklace would be nice if you wanted to go a bit bigger?

Pearls 🙂 I love pearls the look so classy and dressed up!

Edit: just something simple to go with the dress because the dress is amazing and you want that to stand out! I would persoanally wear a white or nude shoes too.

Lovely dress! You’ve got some great suggestions. I’d add a gold coloured necklace (like a simple heart) either a solid heart or an outline. It should be no lower than the bottom of the V. (between your ‘girls’, it will highlight them – you said you wanted to look hot).

For your hair, I’d try an updo or a half updo. My daughter loves this product: The Goody Spin Pin  (Disclaimer: I have NO affiliation with this product.) I’d use the Mini Spin Pins as your hair is shoulder length. It’s cheap at Walmart or Target ($5 0r $6), also available at drug stores. It makes updos super easy. They can also be used for a half updo and there are instructions with it.

Here are several video tutorials with girls with shoulder length using it. The first one is more complete although she has curly hair, the second one has straighter hair. The last one shows a half updo.

Get a great pair of Spanx or the Spanx knockoffs from Target (they’re just as good). They’ll really enhance the line of the dress.

I’d probably skip a necklace, as the neckline is intricate. Do long, dangly earrings and a bracelet in black or gold. White metals won;t work with this color.

Lovely dress, by the way.

@mommytobee:  love that dress!

I think some simple, elegant drop earrings would be great – gold or silver depending on your preferences. You could do a great bracelet as well. I would either skip the necklace, or wear it and forego another accessory. Black suede pumps are sexy and sophisticated too.

As far as hair goes, yours might be long enough for the sock bun. What is the sock bun, you may ask? Only my secret-I’m-a-lazy-girl-and-didnt-wash-my-hair-but-still-want-to-look-put-together weapon!

Oh… just found these… so cute if dangly earrings aren’t your thing!
