I read your post to Fiance and asked him if your fingers were fat.  He looked at the screen and said a resounding, “NO!”  Your friend was being an obnoxious and oblivious idiot.

MrsA44:  your fingers are not fat.  At the risk of sounding creepy lol, I think you have beautiful hands! Now, more importantly, WHAT NAIL POLISH IS THAT?!? It’s gorgeous!

MrsA44:  your fingers look long and thin to me! I can’t stand people that don’t think before they speak! That’s something that young children do. Sounds like she’s very immature!

I’m sorry, what? Who says that! You don’t have fat fingers.  At all.

One of my best friends told me I had a big nose once. I totally do not have a big nose, it’s very normal (thank god I didn’t get my dad’s nose lol), but her comment bugged me for years!  Let it go if you can, she’s obviously clueless about boundaries and tact.  Your fingers are great. I would rather have your finger shape than mine, because I have large knuckles so rings spin around like crazy once I’ve forced them over the knuckle.  Your e-ring is going to sit nicely on your hand.  Lucky you!

Your fingers look fine!! I’m also really self-conscious about my size 8 fingers, so I would have been pissed as well. She’s clearly just rude as hell lol

We all have that friend. Unless you’ve been taking hee opinions to heart up until now I wouldn’t choose this comment to start doing so. As an actual woman with an unimaginably big (yes, genuine SIZE 9) ring finger all I can do it chuckle at this. The advice is wrong anyway. Do longer fingers maybe suit slightly thicker bands? Sure. If they fit nicely. Which they almost never seem to because people forget to size up. Though short chubby fingers ars least flattered by a thick set IMO.

You have nice hands and your fingers are not at all podgy. Thin or fat, how rude of her! I have short small bent knobbly fingers with broad palms and general wrinkliness. I would like to have prettier hands but it doesn’t diminish my joy in my beautiful e-ring at all.

Tell her you agree that your face is your best feature whereas hers is her hands!

Fat fingers!!? Please, I’m a size 9.25. Your fingers are fine. I would have given her a certain finger after that comment. Guess which one 😉
