mirandathecatlady :  YES! just type “ring enhancers” in both of them! I would also look for “wedding bands for square diamonds”.

Also try “Alternative wedding bands” .

STACKING is in now a days so check out people you also have “stacking wedding bands”…but too many and your main stone might get lost in all of them .Hope I helped!

crystaleena : I think she’s happy with the size.

mirandathecatlady :  A beautiful ring on a beautiful hand! I would advise against re-sizing the ring now if you think you’ll end up needing to re-size it again later on with the weight loss project processing. The structural integrity of the shank will suffer if you keep working on it. If the ring starts to feel alarmingly loose, I would first opt to get a very thin silver band (great ones on Etsy) to wear in front of it to protect it from slipping off and wait to re-size either a) when you’ve added a wedding band and still think that as a set it’s too loose OR b) are done with the weight loss project.

Following up to suggest you search threads here on tapered fingers.  It might help you determine how  best to size your ring.  My thought is, if your knuckles are not large there is nothing to catch your ring so you may need to size down or add sizing beads.  I’ve read on here more than once the issue with this is it might cause “muffin top”.

Here is one thread for reference:

First post, ring is here and hate my finger shape!

I lost 45 pounds and only went down 1/2 a ring size! I think your ring is gorgeous as is 🙂

zzar45 :  Disagree. I lose weight in my hands fairly quickly. Same with gain it. I guess I just hold water weight there?

I second to adding sizing beads/balls. I have a size 8 and my fingers fluxute anywhere from 7.5-8.5, right now they are closer to 7.5 because it’s super cold here! The thing is practically sliding off and I don’t have a band right now to secure it or beads (currently an 8). In the summer it’s nice to have space for swelling and also have room for a second ring. Plus your ring doesn’t look small at all! It looks lovely! I have a 3 stone halo with a .25 center and looks great to me so really don’t let your eyes play tricks on you and compare. Congrats on your engagement and happy planning! 😊

Just enjoy your engagement and stop nit picking. He picked that out for you to show you he loves you. Don’t judge that. Just enjoy

What a pretty ring! That is such a lovely hand and ring shot! If you have lost some weight and are intending on losing more you may want to wait on the additonal resizing just to see how things shake out. I’ve gone up and down and up by 30-40 pounds but my ring size only changed 1/2 size. Plus, once you have a band on there it will tighten up the fit because the more you put on your finger the snugger things fit. I can wear a 4.5 now (freakishly childlike hands) but when I put on a band or if I want a stack, I have to choose 4.75 or 5 for the bands so it all fits right and doesn’t get too tight. Same goes for the width of your wedding band.

I second endless loop’s suggestion about enhancers. There are some simply gorgeous ones out there! Check on Etsy for ideas…
