Ok, so my dad is going to officiate our wedding, and I’m not sure what color tux to put him in. The groom is going to be in a black tux, white shirt, black vest and tie. and the groomsmen/best man are going to be in black tux, white shirt, teal vest and tie. The colors I’m using in the wedding are black, white, teal, and fuchsia. I was thinking maybe a black tux, white shirt, grey vest/tie…. but would what not match the colors well enough? Cause I don’t want him to match either the groomsmen or the groom. Please help!

I think the black tux, grey vest would be all right. That is what I put my father and Father-In-Law in. I had a fall wedding with colors red, brown, and white. The gray looked good because it didn’t stand way out but still had a nice touch. We were also able to change the cut/trim of the tux along with a few other minor details. I don’t know where you are getting your tuxes from but we were about to see all the different colors and patterns for the material and jackets. If possible I’d do the same that way you can see the colors you picked for your groomsmen/groom and then compare it to the gray or possibly a different color.
