“I loved her first” by Heartland. It’s about a father giving away his daughter. Talks about how he still loves her but they no longer have the same relationship they used to.

Some others that might be good:

“Daughters” by John Mayer
“My Funny Valentine” (there are a lot of remakes of this song)
“Isn’t She Lovely” by Stevie Wonder
“Over The Rainbow” by Israel “IZ” Kamakawiwo’ole

Those aren’t really focused on relationship specifics so those might be good!

My dad and I did “Landslide” by Fleetwood Mac. “Wildflowers” by Tom Petty might also be good.

My Wish by Rascal Flatts.  Not super sentimental.

I’m also struggling with this issue, and both my dad and I really dislike country, which, unfortunately, seems to be the best genre for father/daughter songs! We’re leaning towards Stevie Wonder’s “Isn’t She Lovely?” right now. My Fiance and his mom have NO idea what song they want yet. 🙁
