I bought my dad a case for his iPad with a bluetooth keyboard in it so he can use it more like a laptop when he wants to. I also bought him “Bacon Salt” which is salt that is flavoured like- you guessed it- bacon!

I made my dad cookies (we’re on a newlywed budget!).  But I was in for a real surprise at the post office…when I’ve mailed him cookies before during grad school (from one state away) it only cost $5 or so….to mail them from halfway across the country where I live now it was $13! I would have rather bought him a movie or book or something.  The whole point of cookies was to save money haha

I got a living social deal to a local hand gun range. It comes with a 15 min lesson and a 30 min target shoot for 2 people. I told him I have a suprise planned. Boy is he going to be suprised. Afterwards we are going out for coldstone.

My brother and I had a cool idea to take my dad out for dinner and then a baseball game. Sadly, all dad wants is parts for his motorcycle. Whatever makes him happy I guess!

We normally don’t really do gifts for father’s day but this year, since the wedding was just recently, I got prints of some of my favorite pictures of him and I… my munchking.. and me & my sis,

He hasn’t seen any of them yet.. and he always enjoys being able to get new pics of us to put up.

I’m thinking he’ll be happy =)
