I’m going to have a touch of Hollywood glamour with Veronica Lake hair, pearls and jewels, and I would love to top it off with a faux fur stole. However, its not a winter wedding! But we will be having an outdoor garden reception and it might be chilly at night (average 50-60 F). I already bought pashminas for the ladies and was going to have one for myself, but I thought – a stole would be so cute! Plus I’d only throw it on later in the night after dinner when it gets too chilly. Is it too out of season to be wearing a faux fur stole in the springtime though? I am not going for a winter wedding look. Would love to get some feedback. Of course, I’m so in love with the idea I’m probably going to do it anyway.
This is my gown:

It is a bit out of season, but I think if you’ll only be wearing it once it gets chilly, there’s nothing weird about it. I like the 3rd one (soft and airy) especially because it looks more light and whimsical than the others and therefore more suitable for spring than the heavy fur ones.

@mg1363: Yes I think I’m going with the maribou as well. It definitely feels more “Springlike”. Although I still love love #4.
