I have searched online and not found what I am looking for. Can anyone help? I am looking for long strands of faux pearls to drape on a vintage chandelier and to spread in and out through my centerpieces. Kind of like what I’ve seen used on that manzanita trees. Does anyone know a good company I can buy these from?

Sorry I don’t know a good company. But here are some suggestions that might help. If you have a local bead store you could inquire there to see if they could get you some. You could go on a beaded jewelry website and post on their foroum (try about.com jewelry making site) for supply suggestions. A frabric store like Joann’s might have it. Lastly, you could buy the faux pearls and string (I would suggest on-line because that would be cheaper than a store – usually) and you could have a stringing party!

Wait until the holiday season and you will find them all over.

My aunt picked up 50 yards of small faux pearl strings at a dry goods store for around $15. Look for wholesale or bulk fabric/dry goods stores.
