i was been searching DIY photobooths and found http://sparkbooth.com/

i downloaded the trial yesterday and it works perfectly! all you need is a laptop and a photo printer. I believe the software is $60 bucks which in comparison isnt bad at all! all you do is start the program, guests jump into your booth and hit the space bar, it takes 4 photos and then the print button pops up and they hit print. simple as that!

Fiance is going to make our booth over thanksgiving weekend when he is down at his parents…PVC pipe and some curtains and you are good to go.

Hmmm, sparkbooth sounds interesting. I was pretty much just going to buy some polaroid film on ebay. There is tons for sale. Alternatively, get a Fujifilm Instapix camera, same thing.

@nicole18ashley: it acutally uses a webcam, so if your laptop already has one then you are all set.

@nicole18ashley: i noticed the ones we did yesterday were a little dark but we were outside and it was 4:30ish so the sun was starting to set, i def still have to play around with it myself still but we are thinking of just putting like a desk lamp or something in the booth to give it some more light. ill let you know how it goes.

I second Spark Booth.. I’ve heard good things, and am planning to use it at our wedding! I’m just worried about leaving my laptop alone during the wedding.. what are other people doing?

@junebug12: I am having one of my usher’s kindof check on the photobooth throughout the night. His table will be sitting near it so he can keep an eye out for the laptop and be able to see if anyone is having problems. I am using the David Cline Photobooth…. Sparkbooth looks good to though!
