I buy my dogs these hedgehogs and alligators for chewing. They’re made from sweet potato so they don’t upset my dogs sensitive stomachs, and the texture from the spines in the hedgehog and alligators backs seems to slow them down.

They don’t last for days or anything, but ime they last for longer than the 5 minutes it takes them to get through most chew treats

My Doxie Pin is fussy and doesn’t like antlers but loves duck feet. They don’t last a terribly long time but at least give him something to chew on. My lab mix loves antlers and rope toys and they’re the only thing she hasn’t destroyes yet. I search Amazon and chewy.com for good deals on chews for them (and great prices on food too). Now they think every delivery is for them!

antlers and nylabones like other people said! Just avoid the puppy nylabones since I heard some might have been infected with salmonella (???) i think since they’re for puppies they might be too soft anyway though. 🙂

Just skimmed replies, but we order cow ears from bestbullysticks.com in bulk. Antlers are also a favorite. We used to do the himalyan cheese but my dogs go through those way too fast now.

+1 for antlers and Himalayan chews.  Once in a while we’ll give our dog a braided bully stick since they last longer than the individual strips.

marvinlove:  Deer antlers are great. They also don’t stink up your dog’s breath, and make that nasty sticky goo that rawhides do.

marvinlove:  Barkbox is the company that delivers a box of toys and treats. I have a subscription, its about $200/year because we have 3 dogs and they like to hide their toys. The toys are pretty good quality, lasts at least a month where other toys we buy at the stores will last 2 days… Otherwise I like antlers too! They help with bad doggy breath

marvinlove:  Not sure if they were on SharkTank, I get bombarded by ads on facebook on them! But they are def worth it though.
