Baby sister came to town this weekend. Small hands are good for cutting and pasting. We got all my favor boxes assembled, cut out all the labels (which took forever because I decided to design them with that crazy shape) and added all the ribbons.
I think they turned out pretty well. We’re doing a candy buffet, but I wanted to include them at the place settings since there won’t be any plates since our food is also buffet style – we like making our guests WORK. 🙂
Should I include some sort of little insert in them explaining what to do? Or just put a single sign on the tables?
I was thinking something like: “Please before you leave, scoop a sweet treat for the ride home”

They look great! I love them. I think that a sign on the table or a litte card in the box would look cute.
I think I am leaning towards something in the box with a note… maybe the size of a business card.

@aitkenpatty: That’s what I was thinking – so that people wouldn’t wonder why they were getting an empty box! 🙂

one of the other girls on here said she is putting a little note that says “thank you for sharing in our special day, please help yourself to the candy buffet” i think thats what i am going to write too!

@lmb330: I actually designed it (I’m a graphic designer) but you can buy them on istock.com Search for “decorative border”.
