MemberMemberWe are doing miniature Welsh Lovespoons because my Fiance is from Wales. It is a tradition in his culture. When we got together his mother and grandmother both sent us lovespoons. 😀
MemberI am also doing succulents (something like these pics). They will be in a small black wooden box/planter and will have the placecards stuck in there somehow. We just bought the plants last weekend for only $1.99 a piece! And my dad volunteered to make the boxes, so I think favors are the ONE thing I can scratch off my list!!!
MemberMy favors are tambourines. My fiance and his family are very musical and we always play the tambourines to the music at parties so I figured it was a cut idea. Plus it will hopefully get everyone out on the dance floor dancing and playing the tambourine and having an awsome time! I love our favors!
MemberI bought tulle circles and raffia at dollartree and we put Lindor Lindt truffles in each.
MemberMini donuts and mini bottles of apple cider…fall wedding 🙂
MemberWe are giving acrylic wine glasses. We got a few when we got our first apartment and people are always complimenting them and asking where we got them. We also used ours on the night that we got engaged, so they are sentimental to us in that way.
Memberwe’re doing several favors, kinda ridiculous but i’ve had a lot of fun with it.
1. candy bar
2. our table assignment card holders double as snowflake photo holders (winter wedding)
3. our place cards will be inserted into a glass photo coaster so each person gets one by their plate,
4. guests will be asked to choose from a list of our fav charities and indicate choice alongside their name on the guestbook (from there, we’ll make a donation on their behalf… prob like $1 per person)
and last, we got beer koozies made in our wedding colors (we’re in our mid-20s… young couple!) that read “to have and to hold and to keep your beer cold” which we packed in baggies with a recipe for the signature drink at the bar where we met. treating the guests has been one of the highlights of planning for us 🙂
MemberI hate it when I go to a wedding and I get a damn picture frame or anything with the brides and grooms name or their picture on it. Seriously, do I really want to see their faces or names after the wedding?? NO. In My Humble Opinion..LOL…I’m totally being sarcastic but serious. Think about it, would you want to see someone’s else faces on a coaster 5 years from now? Nope. LOL
