Can you do both? I’m guessing you’re talking about the ginormous pretzel rods; if not, I’d definitely want more than two! I’m one of the oddballs that loves the taste of fortune cookies, so I’m not much help there. But they sound like a good deal, especially with the custom fortunes.

A couple of thoughts. Could you serve the fortune cookies with dessert rather than use them as favours? I know a lot of chinese restaurants bring out a tray of oranges with your fortune cookies, so could you do something like that?

I love chocolate covered pretzels so I don’t think you should give it up ๐Ÿ˜‰ Could you decorate them in a way to make them look “mexican” so that when you package it up the mexican and asian theme is really obvious? Like get sugar candies/decorations that look like peppers or drizzle red/green/yellow over them?

I personally voted for the pretzels bc that’s one of my favorite things ever! But if you wanted to do both (which would be super-cute) you could have the fortune cookies on the tables and put the pretzels in some kind of container for guests to take on their way out the door, sort of like a post-dessert snack ๐Ÿ™‚

I just saw the Groupon in my email.  I was going to suggest it Laughing.  That is a heck of a deal.  Not sure how many you’re needing.  I saw that you could buy as many Groupons as you want, but you can only use one per purchase.  That nixed the idea for me.  But this would just be an extra.  We’re set on sake sets as favors.

What if you did both….half preztel with with red, white and green sprinkles (mexican colors) and half fortune cookies…..keep the dueling theme going.

@CorgiTales: Dang!  Now you’ve got ME reconsidering.  I was drooling over the Black Raspberry ones.  I just noticed the price per dropped at 100.  Decisions, Decisions.

Really I like neither, but that’s just me.  I’d eat them probably because they have chocolate but I’m not the biggest fan.
