I would have it at the table, or somehow incorporate it into the escort cards so they take their gift with them to their table.

I think if all the favors are on one table, people will just walk past and not remember to take them.

I am having a favor table set up with the escort cards placed in front of each favor with our guest book to sign right as you walk in. I originally wanted to put the favors at each table, but was worried that people would think they were a decoration and not something they can take home with them. I think as long as the table is visible, people should get the idea.

I voted for at each place setting because as @milesbella suggested, people may not see them or may forget to take one in all the excitement of the reception.

If you put them on the table, make sure you label them as favors. I could see a candle getting confused for table decor. The table is the best option though, so everyone sees them! But even then…. they might not take them. I had mine on the table and had plenty left over!

I like how the favour tables always look in pictures, so I would do it that way πŸ™‚  Usually we have the favours right beside the card box and someone is in charge of taking the card/gift from the person in the receiving line, and then giving the favour to them.  Or you can have the favours near the escort table cards, so the person who hands the place card out, can also hand them the favour.

    Hope this helps!

I vote for placing them at the guest’s place setting. I went to wedding where people took 4 or 5 edible favors because they were at a favor table. Some people are greedy…hahahaha…

I’d say at each persons setting that way you can personalize

We put it at each place setting as it contributed (somewhat) to the decor of the tables. Also, our favors were edible so we wanted our guests to be able to eat them during the night.

I did one at each table setting, to help with an extra pop of color!

I think people are way more likely to forget them if you don’t put them at the place setting. Which may be good if you can return them. πŸ˜‰
