- Wedding: February 2013
For my wedding favors we have decided to do a little box of love – kind of like a survival kit if you’ve ever heard of it. Inside the box will be things such as:
starburst – for that burst of energy to keep the party going
penny – for good luck
rubber band – to help you spring back when you fall
eraser – to remind you that every day begins with a clean slate
marble – for when you lose yours
puzzle piece – to remind you that you are an important piece of our lives and without you our day would not be complete
I got the idea from a gift my grandmother had given me years ago and she has since passed and wont be able to share our day so I thought that would be a great way to include her in it. As her and I were really close.
However, I am at a loss of how to word my favor tags. Should I just put
The Mr. and Mrs
or should I try and use a cute saying to kind of describe the whole purpose of what the favor is? I was thinking of like “A gift box with love inside”.. but its not that creative..
I feel like I should at least include thank you on the tags somehow but my future mother in law is insisting on just putting our names. (Although, everyone at the wedding is going to know who we are..)
What are your thoughts?
