@bobsoon2bewife9887: I’m not even sure we want kids (FI is going to med school and with residency, etc. it would probably be many years before we were ready time-wise and financially for that sort of thing. If anything we’d have one) but names are fun! We both like:
Girls- Claire, Jaclyn (always pronouced jack-lynn, not shortened to jackie, jack, etc.), Leta (lee-tah), and for some reason I really like Hayes for a girl.
Boys-we can’t really ever think of good ones but I REALLY like Harper, but Fiance has said he hates that name (a little overly dramatic, I think, but he def. wouldn’t go for it).

@Miss Joker: Funny, I LOVE Lost too, and my name is Rebecca! I love my name also, I wouldn’t name my child after me but I guess I don’t know if I would’ve if my name were something else.
@klosen: Is it pronounced like Carrie or Kah-ree? I’m curious what people think about the different pronounciation.
@Fairy_in_love: I love the name Ginevra. FI’s not a huge fan but I seriously would name my daughter that… does that make me crazy? Lol. And I love the name James for a middle name, but my love for that goes back way farther than HP, and I’ve been reading that since I was 7.

My husband and I completely agree on boy names, but he hates all of my girl names.

@Pinksapphire: I LOVE the name Amalie. I think my husband would actually go for that one, too.

@cyneswith: Haha nothing particularly WRONG with Kammy. My problem was that once I settled on Kamryn that was IT. No nicknames, no nothing, it was Kamryn all the way. I’m weird, what can I say. 🙂

@shhh bee: My 10 year old daughter is rooting for Maryanne, lol. It reminds me of my old babysitter too.
Someone else posted Genevieve and I like that name too! Course everytime I look at it I’ll go back to French class and think of the French pronunciation.

Katherine (but NO Kathy, Kate, Katie, please… Kat may do. maybe)
Jakob (also favorite!)
I think that’s all. Cole is our semi-recent obsession. Im surprised I’ve seen a few people on here mention it 🙂
There’s also a lot of names I like that end in er/or that we can’t do (Connor) because my fiance’s last name ends in -er and it would just sound funny.

@galloway111: So both of our names are Rebecca, and your user name is Galloway… and I have always been told I am named after an ancester Rebecca Galloway… coincidence? Or are we possibly related? lol

Right now I like Clara for a girl and Clinton for a boy. I also really like the name Matteo, I babysit a little boy named that and he is so cute!

@galloway111: Aw, I like Ginevra too! But i´m afraid it will remind people of the liquor (ginebra).. However, I think in english you call the liquor just “Gin”, right? So you could use the name safely! lol
By The Way: Some bee mentioned the name Draco, how could I have forgotten that one?

Girl: Adelyn, Quinn.
Fiance hates the name Adelyn.. I haven’t brought up Quinn to him yet. Unfortunately thanks to Glee I have a feeling Quinn will become more popular.
I have no idea on boy’s names. He likes Wyatt, but I think it sounds strange with his last name!
