I am helping my Maid/Matron of Honor plan my bridal shower. Neither of us have ever planned or even been to one so I can’t expect her to figure it all out on her own. We were looking through some bridal shower games trying to figure out which ones to use. So, what are your favorite that you have seen, played, or plan on doing?
The one Must-Do for me is the TP wedding dress. It is the one I have always seen and always wanted to do.
There is also the Gift Bingo to give guests something to do.
And another favorite, the one where the Maid/Matron of Honor writes down what the bride says while opening her gifts and that is what she supposedly is going to say on her wedding night. (only problem is, isn’t this supposed to be a surprise for the bride because otherwise she would tailer what she says to the game!)

I cant remember any of the games except the bingo and when the bride takes around a tray of little things then leaves the room, and then they ask to write down what she was wearing. I am good at that one.
But here is a site that you might find helpful.

It’s not really a game, but rather an acitivity… I always enjoy buying a scrapbook kit and all the guests can put together a page so that the bride-to-be only has to print photos from the bridal shower and tape them in and viola! scrapbook complete 🙂

I don’t know a lot of bridal shower games, but I love to research and come up with really enjoyable activities. Here are two games I think you might really like:
- Ice game- this is simple. You just have to get small candies–any shape will do–and have them frozen into the middle of your ice cubes. Then, you can give your guests a cup with a cube and ask them to get the candy without touching the cube. Whoever gets the candy first wins.
- What’s in the bag- here, you simply need a pouch or purse and a couple of items like lipstick, cell phone, pen, or whichever thing you like. Assign points for each item and have guests take turn in guessing what the item in the bag is. Whoever accumulates the most points wins.

@Miss Ox: That is cool! I never thought of that. But wouldn’t it get pricey? And what if people aren’t crafty?
