Nothing in particular.  Our date night activities are like how yours ended up last night.  It could be a date during the day by grabbing a bite to eat, shopping all day, and just spending quality time together.  We’re pretty laid back and simple.

A good meal and glass of wine in front of a big screen tv, watching a good DVD.

Or even a drink at a nice bar.

the simple things can be the best.

A low key dinner at an inexpensive place, followed by a trip to the fish store (we have 2 big tanks, we love our fish!) or home to watch a Redbox movie or catch up on the Tivo.

An inexpensive dinner at one of our favorite places, then bowling! It can get pretty hysterical ๐Ÿ™‚ Soon, it will be driving around looking at Christmas lights! One of our favorite things to do together!

Cinema and drinks at a nice pub afterwards, or making a nice dinner at home with a bottle of red wine and a DVD. I love going out for dinner but we usually only do that on special dates.

For date nights, we love dinner and a movie, and we really love going shopping together, even if it’s just to look. We love bookstores and could spend hours browsing. When we lived in New York, my favorite date night was dinner and a Broadway show. Those were the best!

Usually a dinner we have made together at home then heading out for a cheap movie, or staying in and watching some of our favourite tv shows on dvd.

Some of our typical date nights are:

  • Watching a good comedy with a glass of wine and maybe some takeout
  • Bowling
  • Mini golf
  • Shopping
  • Walking outside
  • Trying a new restaurant
  • Board games
  • Cooking dinner together and eating without the TV or cell phones.  Just some quality “talk time”
  • Going for a drive, or even just taking the backroads home.  We’ve had some good conversations when it’s just us in the car.  Or we jam to random songs on the radio.

My Fiance and I going out for dinner followed by a movie. We see movies at least once a week. It’s something we both enjoy.

There is a little movie theatre nearby that is small and USUALLY only shows Sundance type films.  Sometimes popular ones as well.  Anyway, they have tables in the theatre and serve beer, wine, pizza, burgers, as well as popcorn.   Then, after the movie I like to stroll around the little quant town and stop in the local coffee shop for a little caffiene boost from all the carbs I just took in.

Dinner, Redbox movie, wine, beer, walking around town, sex… then sex again. ๐Ÿ˜‰
