I wanted to specifically say heroine to include all awesome ladies of Disney or Pixar. Which I include together because Disney basically owns them, but allows them creative rights and blah blah blah
Mine personally is Mulan.

I mean, come ON she’s so bad ass. Saves the kingdom and her family, while picking up SHANG. Goodness.

@DarthBetty: My favorite Disney movie is Beauty and the Beast, so I’ll say Belle. I love the yellow dress she wears too π

I’ve always likes Sleeping Beauty (but in the blue dress). She does what she wants and gets the guy in the end. I also like that her prince has an actual name – Philip.
But now that I’ve seen Brave, Merida is becoming a new favorite. This may be because Fiance is from Scotland, I have red hair, Fiance had red hair as a kid, and I’m hoping for lots of redheaded babies π

Tie between Mulan and Merida. Strong, independent women for the win!

Belle without a doubt π She is strong willed, stubborn and is a bookworm, just like me π

Merida or Belle π My fiance calls me Bella because I remind him of Belle. He likes Ariel and Belle.

Rapunzel! I loved how independent and fierce she was when she first beat the crap out of Flynn.

Rapunzel! First, she’s a day dreamer. She knows there’s a world beyond her tower that she needs to explore and she will do anything to see it. She manages to capture Flynn with only a frying pan and make a deal of a lifetime. Then, they fall in love! And I love that their love story isn’t your typical “love at first sight” story. It’s more of a “friends first then they fall in love over time” story. . . and you can totally see it happening. The looks Flynn gives her throughout the course of the movie are so genuine! Rapunzel will always be the princess worth waiting for. =)

When I was a kid, it was Ariel and I guess that hasn’t changed. I used to watch that movie on loop! I also always wanted red hair, lol. I dyed it once and it look great for about a week π
