i’ve gotten them at both places, and i’ve never noticed a huge difference in quality. just make sure you get the individual lashes.

MAC, I believe #37. THEY ARE TO DIE FOR! Totally not too over the top, but are still dramatic and beautiful. I wear them to every special event.

When i get home I can check which ones mine are for sure to get you the right #.

I have MAC ones and they are great. They look amazing and no one has ever known they were fake when I was wearing them

I’ve owned high-end brand ones and drugstore ones, and I would say there isn’t a difference in quality. Save your money and buy the drugstore ones.

However, buy the eyelash glue from MAC!!!

Will anyone post pics of themselves with their false eyelashes?  I posted this a few days ago and nobody replied.  I’m still debating whether I want to wear them and I just don’t want them to look fake (looking to add length and volume).

Anyone willing to share photos?

@heatherrobyn:  Those are gorgeous…exactly what I’m looking for.

Dumb question, but I’ve never bought/worn them before.  How easy are they to apply?  What else do you need?

just get the glue from MAC,and that’s all you need! some people need to cut the sides of the lashes a bit shorter if they have small eyes… but i didn’t need to.

they are super easy to apply, you just have to make sure you let the glue get tacky before you put them on.

if you go the MAC store or counter and buy your lashes, they will put them on you for free. while they’re doing that they will explain exactly how to do it yourself!

It does take some practice but once you get the hang of putting them on it’s easy! I have only used drugstore brands. I’ve also only used the strip ones, not the individual ones (because the individual ones seem like they’d be super time-consuming). I might try the individual ones out for the wedding day though.

Here’s what helped me — First curl your lashes and apply your mascara in a thin coat to your real lashes, especially if they’re blondish. Put the glue on the false lash base and wait a few seconds for it to get tacky. Then apply from inside of your eyelash to outside. Use the plastic side of a Q-tip that is cut in half to help push the eyelash into place as close to your real lashes as possible. I usually use a liquid liner on my top lash daily, so I also put it on top of the fake lashes, and it helps hide any imperfections at the base of the fake ones.

If you want something natural just buy a type that looks more natural rather than the thick black ones.

My make-up artist applied my eyelashes for my bridal portriats, and they looked great! It was only $35 for the eyelashes, glue, and application. Maybe something to consider if you don’t want to worry about it on the big day.
