I love anything! Except salmon mousse I just can’t do it! We were at a wedding recently with spring rolls. They were served in a little shot glass with sauce for dipping at the bottom  I thought they were cute! I’m not a huge fan of anything overly fancy but that’s just personal preference 🙂 they also had a cheese spread with many different cheeses than your standard cheddar.

I once went to a wedding that had tomato soup shooters with mini grilled cheeses and it was AMAZING!!

Mini crab cakes, mini cheeseburgers, coconut shrimp, Indian kebabs, samosas, vegetable pakoras (I go to a lot of Indian weddings).

I love sushi, dumplings,  spicy prawn or chicken skewers, rice paper springrolls

Things I don’t like are fried foods. I much prefer fresh ingredients

MiniMeow :  I love seafood appetizers. Shrimp cocktail, scallops, crab cakes. I also love cheese & crackers and crudites.

Bacon wrapped dates stuffed with goat cheese

Croquetas

Mini empanadas

Stuffed new potatoes (so many options, depending on season)

Anything with figs or artichokes

Prosciutto rollups or prosciutto wrapped breadsticks

Goat cheese grape balls

Gazpacho shooters

Anything that’s not “fancy” and isn’t super messy. I like finger foods that are easy to walk around and eat without a plate (even if the plan isn’t to have guest walk around, eat, and socialize. I just personally feel like food that you need to eat sitting down with a plate is better suited for dinner.) My faves include pot stickers, mini grilled cheese, egg or spring rolls, mini empanadas, sliders, skewers, won tons, taquitos etc. 🙂

We had several different appetizers, but let me tell you…our spinach and artichoke puff things (not sure what they are technically called lol) were GREAT. Had a lot of compliments about them.
