My go to color for nails is black.

I keep my nails a bit longer in the summer so I like a French manicure but in the winter I like a dark burgundy on shorter nails. I find I can dress both up and both go great with jeans for the weekend. 🙂

I have gel nails so for me it is bright pink or purple for summer and then darker shades in winter.

MsPiggy :  I’m a red girl myself. I love fire engine reds. I also wear lots of berry pinks or raspberry colours. I try muted tones and neutrals but they don’t suit my skin tone at all. They make my hands look like the living dead!! 😢

I like rimmel salon professional (I think that’s the brand). They go on easy with the rounded brush and dry quickly too. I also use the sinful colors range. These two brands stay on my nails for longer without chipping. The sinful colors top coat is fabulous and so shiny. People think I’ve got gels on when I use that topcoat.

I’ve tried all the more expensive brands (Essie, orly, OPI) but they don’t stay on my nails. I love some of the colors in these brands but they just don’t work with my nail chemistry and I can’t be bothered painting with them to only have it chip ten minutes later!!

I have long, almond shaped nails and my go to color is OPI’s Red Hot Rio.

My favorite color is OPI Lincoln Park After Dark.  It’s an oldie but one of their most classic colors.  Since it’s dark I usually only wear it in the fall and winter.  In the summer I tend to wear berry or navy blue.  I don’t do anything too outrageous with my nails and i keep them pretty short to begin with.

For some reason Essie polish doesn’t work well with me.  My nails chip a day later.  I’ve tried their gel line with the same results.  Some of the Sally Hansen gel colors work for me, but never as long as when I get a professional manicure.

I have a nail polish obsession! OPI is my favorite brand overall, and my favorite color of all time (so far) is OPI Malaga Wine, a slightly translucent/jelly burgundy. My go-to color in general is red.

I work in a rather conservative office so I usually do a french manicure or nude color.  Currently wearing pale grey.

MsPiggy :  I love Revlon Grey Seude, it actually comes out more of a brown color.

MsPiggy :  If I’m painting both my fingers + toes, my go-to color has been “Angora Cardi” by Essy for a few years now. The rest of the time, I stick with various shades of red on my toesies. 🙂

OPI Java Mauve-a is my holy grail. First OPI nail polish I ever bought, and my mind was blown thinking all OPI nail polish was that nice — nope, just a particularly gorgeous formula. One coat is easily passable, and the color is a perfect rosy neutral on me.
