If my sweet tooth isn’t bugging me, I usually eat carrots or broccoli with some French dressing. If I have the sweet tooth, I’ll eat some strawberries with a little whipped cream or some grape salad (low on the whipped cream and cream cheese).

I absolutely love fruit&nut granola clusters. Sometimes, when I’m feeling REALLY bad I’ll put whipped cream on top of them *Drools*

Lately I have been loving a big rice cake spread with Nutella.  Another bee posted it on a snack thread, and since then, I am obsessed.  It’s like eating a candy bar, but so much better for you!

I also like to cut up bananas with cinnamon and a vegan-friendly dark chocolate melted over the top.  Maybe when all’s said and done, it’s not so ‘not-so-bad-for-you’, lol

I just made pina colada cupcakes.  I found them off of the skinnytaste website and mine came out to about 130 calories a cupcake including the frosting…they are sooo good and easy!  Not as healthy as carrots or an apple but when that sweet tooth is calling, these really hit the spot.

I love baby carrots with French Dressing!

Lately we’ve become addicted to Back To Nature Trail Mix, Nantucket Blend. Soo good.

Korean Rice Crackers, it’s got just a tad of sweet to it. So good!

Popcorn-flavoured rice cakes. 35 cal and so yummy!

Also, for a bit more of a “splurge”: Raspberry-Pineapple Yogen Fruz. So damn good.

Dill pickles, or pickled beans. Salty and crunchy like chips, but not so greasy! Oooh, or a toasted tomato sandwich. My Grandma used to make all three (from her garden veggies) for my sister and I when we went to visit. And a bit of cottage cheese… makes an awesome lunch, but each individually is good for a snack.

kettle corn! or regular popcorn with dill pickle flavoring on it (my Canadian friends turned me on to it….I will be forever indebted to them!)

I don’t know that these are all that low in sugar/carbs, but find they’re awesome to satisfy a sweet tooth and definitely aren’t the worst you could choose….

– french vanilla frozen yogurt sprinkled with some smashed-up frozen dark chocolate pieces (doesn’t have to be pretty!  And I find chocolate smashes better when it’s already frozen)

– strawberry halves dipped in Nutella that’s been warmed for 20 or 30 seconds in the microwave…it’s like chocolate fondue, only waaaaaay better 🙂 

– sliced/peeled apple slices – put them in a bowl with a little water, put it in the microwave for about a minute, sprinkle with granola and brown sugar… a trick that might make you think you’re eating apple crumble!
