I love Anthropologie and Nordstrom too but their prices can be insane.  I try to go to Nordstrom Rack whenever I can, and I hit up Anthropologie during their big sales and Nordstrom during the half yearly sales (in May and November I believe) and their anniversary sale in July.  I used to work at Nordstrom and I miss the discount!

I like to shop at Forever21, Cotton On & H&M .. I like that H&M has a little more of a ‘grown up feel’ style .. but its not expensive.

I love love LOVE Express and The Limited. Their prices are not outragous either. I also like New York & Co. and Maurices. They both have a young, grown up feel to them. =)

I love Express… it can be pricey but they are constantly sending out coupons or other offers so it makes it reasonable 🙂

I’m in my early 30’s and try not to dress too trendy.  I love classics….so I tend to spend a bit more on those pieces and add inexpensive touches of the latest appropriate trends.

Pricey:  Nordstom, Ann Taylor LOFT, J Crew, Neiman Marcus, and Bloomingdales.

Less Pricey: Old Navy, Zara, The Limited, and Gap.

It depends on what kind of clothes I’m shopping for.  Work clothes (I wear suits every day) are mostly from New York and Company, sometimes express if I have a good coupon!  I actually love all Express clothes (work and casual).  Then for casual clothes usually Macy’s (either on sale or with a coupon) but I still buy some jeans from American Eagle!

@MandaMack: I still love jeans from American Eagle too! They are made so well and seem to last forever!

When I’m in the States, I love shopping at Ann Taylor and Loft.  I get a lot of great pieces at Banana Republic, too.  I like JCrew, The Limited and Express as well as Gap.

@BanditGirl: I forgot Banana Republic!  I just bought 5 sweaters there at the day after Christmas sale…waking up at 530 am to get to the mall at 6 was soooo worth it!

@MissFlipFlops: Seriously!  I think their jeans are better then some “designer” jeans!  I don’t wear their tops anymore though.  Most of their tops do seem a bit “young” for my style.

Ann Taylor and Banana Republic for professional clothes. I know Ann Taylor has a student discount on non-sale items (BR might also?) Express for casual. I love J. Crew, but it’s so expensive! I find a lot at Macy’s, and Nordstrom can be okay for some things if you can find a good sale.

Good luck!

I’m so boring…I buy most of my clothes from Banana Republic and JCrew (good deals at the outlets, and remember JCrew has a student discount!).  I’ve found some great stuff shopping online at Piperlime and Bluefly, but I don’t buy from there often since I prefer trying on in store.

If you need things to wear for work, Old Navy has some good staple pieces for inexpensive prices. You might want to check out Overstock.com, Banana Republic sale items, H&M…if I think of others, I’ll post.

I guess I’m cheap but I buy all my jeans at Kohls (only levis seem to fit me well) and most of my other stuff at H & M.
