Battery Park was my first thought. Or any of the beaches, or one of the plantation grounds!

Love The Battery! I saw a cute engagment shoot of a couple that just went around downtown.  They had pictures in the alleys, had the rod iron fences as a back drop, the brick buildings and parks along the way…it just looked really nice.  It was neat too because every picture was unique instead of the same tree in every picture!

Either way you can’t go wrong, Charleston is just so pretty and they will come out great!

My daugher and her fiance had their engagement pictures taken downtown along Rainbow Row, at the Battery, in front of iron gates, etc.  There are cobblestone side streets along the way as well and the Waterfront Park is nearby.

In the alleys downtown right next to Waterfront Park would be awesome. When you’re at the pineapple fountain, go inland where there is the big art gallery (with the lovely glass architecture) and if you go inland from there you will stumble onto a few streets with lovely cobblestone and big old windows that always seem to be quiet.

Another good place would be the area in front of the Aquarium, there are a lot of hanging vines and benches and such. There are also a couple of grassy field type areas.

Also the park that is next to the Confederate Home is GORGEOUS. I think it is called Washington square or something? It’s really small but would make for an amazing out door shoot..

I loved the way our pictures came out-we started at the Pineapple at Waterfront Park and worked our way through the cobblestone streets. There were some great shots back there down the various alleyways.

The Pineapple at Waterfront Park and the new waterfront part in Mt Pleasant is also a great spot.
