My favorites are No Sleep and Creepy.   I have a long commute and listen every day in my car, keeps me sane in the crazy traffic.

I listen to loads but if you are wanting something in a similar vein to Serial I would suggest ‘Missing & Murdered’ and ‘In the Dark’.

My Favorite Murder

The Dollop

Teacher’s Pet – it’s on its first season right now but there’s 12 (or 11) episodes out already and it’s excellent. It’s making some big waves in Australia right now.

In the Dark

Two dope queens is my favorite.

Here to make friends is good if you like the bachelor or, like me, like to hear ppl snark on it but don’t really want to watch.

Getting curious is really interesting.

Missing & Murdered was amazing. It’s really entertaining from a true crime fan perspective, but also explores really interesting issues around the governments relationship with first nations people

My Favourite Murder – Also a true crime podcast, but a lot less serious.

Risk – “where people tell true stories they never thought they’d dare to share in public”

Freakanomics – “the hidden side of everything” It’s an economist that talks to people about socieconomic studies (very accessible info, not too academic)  exampes – “the economics of sleep,” “Is the Internet being ruined” etc.

2 Dope Queens – Comedy (that is also very socially and politically aware)

NPR also has a tonnnnn of amazing ones. Especially This American Life and Hidden Brain or Invisibilia.

If you liked Serial, listen to S-Town!

Some others I like: Reply all, Radiolab, The Moth, Mystery Show

Presidential was interesting, with episodes on each of the past presidents.

I love podcasts, but right now I am into the political ones.

I am obsessed with podcasts. My favorites:

My Dad wrote a porno- it’s laugh until you cry funny and delightfully cringy

The Black Tapes- it’s a fictional investigation of these videotapes showing creepy phenomena

Rabbits- also fictional and it’s kind of a mystery with some supernatural elements thrown in

Last Podcast on the left- horror comedy. If you have a dark sense of humor this is gold

Dirty John- true crime story. It’s absolutely wild

RealiTV- podcast that snarks on my favorite trash tv mainly 90 day fiance, married at first sight and teen mom.

“My Favorite Murder”, “Last Podcast on the Left”, and “Citation Needed” are my top 3!

All them are older so you’ll have quite a backlog to keep you busy. 🙂
