I would really love to incorporate a lovely poem into our ceremony. The only one i can think of is:
I mean I LOVE it and would am happy to use it … just wondering if there are any other favorites out there.
Also, would it be weird that a bridesmaid reads the poem????

What a nice poem!
It wouldn’t be weird if the bridesmaid reads it. If you have a podium or even a microphone on the side that she can walk up to, that would be best. It would be just a bit awkward if she had to read it while standing next to you amongst the other bridesmaids. Just my two cents!

i think that is a perfect choice! some others I like are: sonnet 116, shakespeare, the good morrow, john donne (this would be hard to understand though), How do I love thee, Elizabeth Barrett Borwning…thats all i can think of off the top of my head that would work for a wedding. I love poetry! My username is after the last line of gerard manley hopkins’ God’s Grandeur..but that would be a fairly bleak choice for a wedding.
