My older brother is doing our wedding photography. and he is a great photographer but has never done a wedding. he asked me to pick a few pictures i LOVED from other weddings so he can have some ideas about what to take.. without staging everything, or it being awkward!
please share your favorite picture from your wedding, or one you like and want to recreate, or something you saw on pinterest etc. pleaseee!!
i have looked all over and have a few. but since i really have NO wedding experience either (i am the first of my friends to get married, and my wedding will be the 3rd wedding i have been to, ever!) so i really have no idea

I would suggest looking through pinterest. I made a ‘pictures’ board with all these amazing pictures I found and then showed my photographer. She said it helped her a lot.
My favorite of mine though…

This is one of my favorites that we’ll have to get, since my Fiance loves to kiss my forehead:

I was too much of a wuss to do a trash the dress so we just went out and had fun. My Mother-In-Law got this pic of us, which happens to be our absolute favorite picture out of any of them.

This is one the photographer took of my parents and us in the background during the ceremony
Another favorite that seemed lame when we were taking it but turned out cool!:

I really want to get a photo of our first kiss from the perspective of the officiant. Usually its the other way around, but I LOVE the photo below. I love how you can see all of the friends and family in the background. Logistically you have to talk to your officiant and make sure they are on the same page so they know to step out of the way to allow for the photographer to get in and snap the photo.

@adoc86: I also love that shot with the different kiss perspective! Unfortunately I doubt our photographer will be able to get it because there is no riser at our alter, (it’s not in a church) so everything is at the same level. Will be tricky for him to get the same perspective
Hopefully you have better luck!
