As someone who hates pepper and LOVES good quality salt, a pepper AND salt grinder set.  Darling Husband uses the pepper.

Our china set, we selected something very simple (white) that we would actually use regularly and could easily buy extra place settings for.  Lenox Tin Can Alley.

Our pot set is super high quality (Zwilling J.A. Henckels) and we’ll use them for yeaaars.

Really good steak knives, we asked for 6 and ended up getting 12 which turned out to be a good thing.  When we host, it’s often more than 6.

I didn’t register for an Instant Pot, but someone bought it for us anyway and I LOVE it now. Use it multiple times a week. Also Kitchenaid mixer because I enjoy baking and using it to shred chicken.

Married 7 years.

What we use the most: everyday dishes, flatware & glassware. Small kitchen gadgets & nice pairing knives. Wine glasses.  A “tv watching” blanket from Pottery Barn that I never would have bought myself but use everyday! Dyson vacuum. Cake dome – there’s almost always something in it to nibble on!

What we rarely use but I’m glad we got: Kitchen Aid Mixer & ice cream attachment, fine china/ silverware/ crystal. A gorgeous Juliska vase that my husband will put flowers in for special occasions. Serving pieces for entertaining like platters and our Nambe cheeseboard.

What we really didn’t need & don’t use: some odd appliances that I finally donated after they were still in boxes at year 5, champagne flutes (we aren’t champagne people!), the larger dinner everyday dinner plates (they’re huge!), napkin rings.

We didn’t register, but my aunt got us a shark vacuum and it’s really a game changer to have a real grown up vaccum.  Before that, we had a weird pull around vacuum that my college roomate gave me on move out day 😀

Kitchen Aid Mixer, All-Clad and LeCreuset Cookware, Jiffy Garment Steamer and great knives. Also fancy platters and silver serving pieces that I love to use and probably wouldn’t purchase on my own.

Air fryer. Never used them before, but now I LOVE them!! I use them to cook so many things!

I don’t like the oily taste of fried foods, but with this, for the first time ever, I finished a bowl of chips all by myself.

I also use them to grill, and bake small things.

Bump! I’m commenting because I want to be able to refer back to this thread when we make our registry 🙂

girlandherpearl :  I have a roomba knockoff from Amazon – it is the BEST home purchase I have ever made. I never sweep anymore, and I hardly ever have to mop either bc nothing is on the floor. I am SO excited to upgrade it for my registry.
