@october5bride: It just depends on your budget. Personally, I think after 104 a person per plate, $8 is a little much. But like I said, depends on your budget. My favors ended up being about $2 a person.

@october5bride: I don’t think there is anything wrong with these favors. However, I know we can’t always cater to every guest. But, this is pretty specific. Do you think all of your guests will appreciate a wine stopper?

In the crowd-pleasing sense, I’d go with an edible favor. IMO…good luck!!!

We’ve gotten that wine bottle stopper at 3 weddings…but we’re big wine drinkers, so we don’t mind!  Also, I don’t think it’s tacky at all. $8 per person is pricey for favors in my budget, but that doesn’t mean it’s too much for your budget!  You have to do what you’re comfortable with.  We’re going with edible favors – we’ve been to 19 weddings together and have received every trinket under the sun, so we’re trying to do something a little different. Smile

we gave a DIY fan because it summer and very hot, and then a pillow box filled with jordan almonds, and a chinese take out box filled with home baked pastries.  I originally wanted to spend less than $3 per person but we went overboad but it was worth it!!

That seems like a lot. I’ve seen favors as low as $1-2. But if you can afford it, I don’t think anyone will mind!
