We are having a Destination Wedding in Savannah. I was thinking of giving goodie bags to guests as they arrive to town (in hotel, possibly). So far we have come up with small bottles of Coca-Cola because it started in Georgia, peaches, bottles of water, granola bars aspirin & gum. Can you think of anything else?
As for favors… We are thinking something edible but it has to be able to travel well b/c we are flying.

Ahhh this is a lovely idea 🙂 I would love to receive one of these. I was going to suggest a tiny pack of biscuits (which always goes down a treat with me in hotels) but they will probably have these already no? So I think you already have everything you need 🙂
ps – edible favours are definatley the way to go 🙂

I went to a wedding in Savannah and the favors were from The Savannah Bee Company. Its such a cute boutique. You could do the cute little jars of honey for a favor but they have tons of other products. We were given a natural honey lotion/lip balm set in the hotel guest bags too. Or check out the shopSCAD store on Bull St (Savannah College of Art and Design). You could find some really creative favor ideas there, handmade by artists @ SCAD. Another option for edible favors would be River Street Sweets, you could do pralines, pecans or bearclaws etc.

Pralines, I always think of pralines when I think of Savannah. Also, the downtown historic area in Savannah allows you to stroll with your adult beverages so maybe a custom 16 oz cup or souvenir Savannah cup?

@tronski: Thanks for the lovely comment. 🙂 “Biscuits” made me smile… I’m thinking you mean what we call cookies here? Biscuits sounds soooo much better!
@Cupid268: Thanks for the tip! I will check it out! I wanted something local…great starts.
@beachbride1216: Had no idea about the historic area and drinks. Good to know! I will look into pralines too. I like the idea of a cup. Not necessarily with our info printed but maybe something about Savannah.
