- Wedding: April 2013
The theme of our wedding is cherry blossoms/ spring and the favor is a small 3′ round cherry blossom plate which will have pieces of sponge candy (a WNY chocolate candy), wrapped in cellophane and tied with a pink raffia ribbon.
What are your thoughts on personalizing it with our names and the wedding date? Is this better to put on a tag attached with ribbon, or written on the bottom of the plate? I’m fairly artistic so my first thought was to find a black pen that writes like a thin paint brush and on the bottom, around the inside of the circle, write,
“Thank you for sharing in our lives” and in the middle of the circle, write “Charlie & Lynne 2013” (not the whole date to save room).
Attached are images of the plates. Do any Bees have suggestions on how to personalize, what to say? I’m thinking trying to make it shorter/ cuter. Also, I wonder if guests really want a plate, which they could use for rings, change, etc. with something written on the bottom? Or is it better to attach a tag, that they would see right away, and not be permanantly on the plate?
Thanks for any and all suggestions!
